Hola. My name is Maite. I have a background in social science and art. However, for many years, I have worked as a freelance illustrator, collaborating on graphic campaigns, creative projects, editorials, and surface pattern designs.
Having lived in Germany for a decade, I am now based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, my hometown. My approach to illustration goes beyond mere drawing – I see it as both a practice and a way of thinking. To me, illustration is a powerful tool for storytelling and expressing ideas creatively and coherently.
I am passionate about collaborating on projects that offer a critical and diverse perspective. In my projects, I delve into themes such as motherhood and migration, drawing inspiration from nature, plant life, and everyday experiences.
